A lot of people are not genuine but actually spammers waiting for you to give them your real email address so they can start spamming you with porn or links to sign up at another dating service they get referrals from. Stick with the well known ones like yahoo and match. And most importantly make sure you have a lot of people in your area that are paid subscribers... since only subscribers will actually be able to send you messages and an alternative way to contact them.
